Non-place 1: City Airport

I'll be awake nice and early tomorrow to head over to London City Airport. Working with artist Joe Tate, the aim of this venture will be to collect images and sounds to aid a new set of work inspired by the idea of the 'non-place'. I'll explain it all a bit more as I progress.

Small update

It's been a while since I've updated this thing...
I've been in contact with a couple of galleries following the AAF, and working real hard. I've started painting a little for the first time in a while, and loving it. The new studio is working out well, it's inspiring and relaxing, despite the the ever present builders and occassional roof leak. The majority of the new work will be available in the new year..!

Warehouse studio

I'm finally being let loose in my newly converted warehouse studio in North-East London. It's been a tiring wait, but at last i can move-in this weekend. I'm working on a new collection of work which should be complete by the end of November. Please do email me if you wish to be updated.

NSAD brief: Cloud Appreciation conference promotion. The idea here was to incorporate the sky into the design. Three weights of sewing needle were used to punch holes into card,the design becomes visible as natural light passes through the holes.
